With April's Specials Chef Scheeler goes back to the days of his wandering the European Lowlands, absorbing as much culinary knowledge (and beer) as possible.
Begin with Pomme Frites, hand-cut Kennebec potatoes twice fried in accordance with the traditional Belgian technique. Entrees include Belgium's national dish, Moules-frites, as well as Chicken Waterzooi and Varkens met Stoemp.
For Dessert enjoy Zuurdeeg Wafel met Chocolade, a Liege-style waffle made with Chef's beer-base sourdough and topped with house-made chocolate ganache and toasted almonds--whipped cream available!
